12-week Program that helps agile coaches learn the professional coaching tactics used by the top 1% of leaders to inspire teams and drive exceptional work performance.
Back in 2016, I thought I was a great agile coach. I was an expert agilist, sharing my knowledge with anyone who would listen. As my career grew, I started to notice a shift. The teams I led didn't want my advice. They wanted coaching.
I soon learned that coaching is less about being the expert and more about helping others become the experts.
Coaching doesn’t always come naturally. When agile coaches are under pressure, the default is often to share expertise—to tell people what to do. While that can be useful, many situations call for a different approach—a more coach-like leadership style.
This program is fundamentally about changing habits.
Helping agile coaches to:
✅ Ask more, tell less
✅ Listen more, assume less
✅ Invite more, shut down less
✅ Pause more, speak less
✅ Reflect more, rush less
This program is not just about theory. It's about practical application. That is why this program focuses on the daily actions that add up, ensuring its applicability in daily work.
"Leadership don't want to change."
I hear this challenge all the time from agile coaches. I was there, too, hitting my head against a brick wall, frustrated at the lack of change.
Surprisingly, when I gained professional grad coaching skills, something happened.
Doors to leadership opened.
I gained trust and respect, and a real transformative change occurred.
The reason?
It turns out that the skills of coaching are very similar to the skills of influence. FBI Hostage Negotiator Chris Voss describes three skills for influence: listening, asking and empathy.
In this program, agile coaches become masters at all of these.
Becoming a professional level coach and incredible influencer.
After just twelve weeks, your business will be remarking on the transformational change that is created.
Agile coach, life coach, career coach. There are so many different kinds of coaching. It's easy to be confused.
This program isn't about becoming a life coach and starting a coaching business. It's about applying professional grade coaching skills at work.
Previous students include Managers, Agile Coaches, Department Leaders, Product Leaders and People Operations Leaders.
Agile Coaches in your organisation are probably feeling like this:
😨 Uncertain how to be both an expert and a coach.
😨 Frustrated at the lack of change in your workplace.
😨 Fearful of having tough feedback conversations or giving bad news (especially to senior leaders)
😨 Anxious about how to work with difficult people and coach underperformers.
😨 Conflicted about high standards while letting the team discover their own answers.
If any of these sound familiar... Then, this ICF-certified course was built specifically for your team.
Your team won't be the same when this program ends.
Agile coaches are naturally curious about coaching. It's in their job title.
In fact, many of them may already have certifications in coaching. Awesome!
Yet sometimes, this learning doesn't create cohesion. As one team member speeds ahead, others are left behind or take a different path.
A strong team learns together.
This program is organised in cohorts of 6-8. It works best when all the participants are from your organisation. Learning and growing together.
Participating in this program creates a unique sense of accountability. Learners are part of a team, and their progress will directly impact the group's success. It's a level of accountability, unlike anything you've ever experienced.
This program will transform your organisations coaching culture.

The steps to becoming a certified coach might seem different. For example, if you became a certified Scrum Master, all it took was a short two-day course, a quick exam, and instant certification.
In contrast, the International Coach Federation (ICF) is the Gold Standard of coaching. The bar to certification is higher, and it can be a little confusing.
In simplest terms, there are three steps. And I'll be with you every step of the way.
Complete this Level 1 Certified Program
Over 12-weeks together we will complete 60hrs of learning + 10hrs of mentoring. At the end learners will complete an evaluation which requires a passing score.
Conduct 100 hours of coaching.
It sounds like a lot, but by the time you complete the training, most leaders will have already completed around 24 hours of practice sessions. Learners can quickly obtain the remainder by harnessing the course alumni network.
Pass the ICF Credentialing Exam
Yikes! I know we all hate exams, but learners shouldn't worry. The training equips everyone to get a passing score.

✅ ICF Associate Coach Credential (ACC)
Hello 👋
I'm Toby Sinclair, the creator and coach of this certified program.
For the last decade I’ve been transforming the Employee Experience at JP Morgan Chase. I led change programs that transformed the Employee Experience for thousands. Working directly with business CEO’s, CIO’s, CHROs, we transformed many stages of the employee lifecycle. Most notably, helping managers become world class coaches.
This resulted in JP Morgan Chase & Co. being voted by LinkedIn the best US company to work for in 2024. Ahead of Amazon, Google, Alphabet Inc. It was a real highlight to be in a leadership team that delivered for employees.
Now I’m sharing this knowledge to help you lead like a coach. To deliver the experience research shows employee wants: world class coaching every day.
I'm a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation. Many coaches claim to be professionals but few have undertaken rigorous training. To get this credential means I've completed 125hrs of training and delivered over 500hrs coaching conversations.
I believe that your role as a leader is to create an environment that unlocks the potential in people. You can do this best by mastering high impact coaching skills.
This ICF-certified coaching program teaches you the advanced coaching tactics used by the top 1% of leaders to inspire teams and drive exceptional work performance.

Your Employer Will Pay For This!
I was initially hesitant to ask for funding when I applied for certified coach training. I learned the age old wisdom, don't ask, don't get. Whilst it wasn't automatic, my employer just needed to understand the value professional coaching would bring to the company. Luckily, coaching has a great value proposition and with a short conversation they were like "why didn't we do this earlier?"
